methods 2 week 9
- The big question addressed in lab, and a description of what you did.
When and how did the evolution of earth happen?
- A description of what you learned in Thursday's lecture.
We took an exam.
- Answer questions about the weekly textbook reading:
- What did you learn?
We learned about the history of earth and the timeline of when different things happened including snowball earth, sun exploding, first flower, first animal, first plant, etc.
- What was most helpful?
The different graphs and pictures helped to make a visual connection to my learning. I also thought that it is so important to learn about how in my mind, the earth should still be covered in ice but it is because there was volcanos under the ice that eventually kep erupting and warmed our planet.
- What do you need more information on?
I know we will learn more about it soon, but I need more information on the continental drift, plate tectonics and Pangea. These concepts were just not taught to me growing up so I am excited to learn more.
- What questions/concerns/comments do you have?
I just think it is crazy that we call the ice age an ice age when only a fraction of the world was a covered in snow and ice.
